Rushongoka Wa-Mpiira’s work and interest sit at the intersection of ecosystems restoration and sustainable food systems as major catalysts for climate action. He’s currently the lead restorationist at Nyanza Ecological, an independent company that is driving impact investment into restoration in the Albertine Rift region. Rusho is an ardent champion of the organic food movement. He’s a master fellow of the IFOAM’s Organic Leadership Academy and an IFOAM global ambassador.
